Preamble:
Malla Reddy University is offering B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering in Wireless Communication Technologies specialization and the students will develop the capability to design and implement wireless solutions, e.g., for future 5G networks, Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices and smart energy-efficient wireless sensor applications and they will gain relevant skills of the latest radio engineering methods, tools, technologies, and the ability to design RF electronics for smart phones and base stations of mobile systems.
The skills gained in the course offer a solid academic training and essential knowledge on the design of wireless communications networks at the system level. After graduation the students are capable of designing, implementing and employing 5G and IoT applications and developing future wireless communications technologies.
Course Outline: This course introduces fundamental technologies for wireless communications. It addresses the following latest topics: review of modulation techniques, wireless channel modelling, multiple access schemes, cellular communications, diversity techniques, equalization, channel coding, selected advanced topics such as OFDM, cognitive radio, cooperative communications, space time coding, and smart antenna systems. It also highlights about 5G Technology, BlueTooth, Wi-Fi, Wimax, GSM, GPS and other latest wireless communication technologies in detail.
